Neighbour Dispute Over Pets Ends in Double Death and Injury
Picture of crime scene. A neighbourhood conflict involving pets took a tragic turn on September 9 when a former military officer shot and killed his neighbour before taking his own life. The incident left two people dead and another injured. The violent encounter began around 07:30 in Khlong Sam Subdistrict, Khlong Luang District, Pathum Thani Province. Authorities responded to reports of gunfire in a residential area. Upon arrival, police found the bodies of Colonel Jaruchat Jarupan, 64, and Saowakul Sasado, 53, near their homes. Jaruchat, a retired army officer, was discovered lying on his back outside his house, a 9mm Sig Sauer P365 pistol by his side. He had sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the head, indicating suicide. Saowakul, his neighbor, had been shot multiple times—once in the right hand, elbow, cheek, and twice in the abdomen. The dispute reportedly began six months ago over a disagreement about pets. Jaruchat had been caring for stray cats, while Saowakul owned dogs. On the morning of the incident, a verbal argument escalated when Saowakul insulted Jaruchat, calling him "cripple." After a heated exchange, Jaruchat retrieved a firearm from his home and opened fire. Saowakul's son, Kritin Natwil, 30, who rushed out to check on his mother, was also shot in the arm but survived the encounter. Kritin described hearing his mother arguing with Jaruchat before the shots rang out. He saw her lying wounded on the ground, and when he approached, Jaruchat fired at him as well. Police Colonel Kiattisak Mitprasat, head of Khlong Luang Police Station, stated that the initial investigation indicated a longstanding feud over pets, which escalated into violence. Jaruchat's keeping of stray cats and Saowakul's dogs had led to several altercations between the two households. And what would the correct google term be for unqualified people who spread misinformation and offer what could be very bad and indeed costly advice . Probably the same descriptive for those who act on such advice. To$$ers would be an appropriate word in my opinion. During covid many people doing just that were censored into silence , allegedly for the publics benefit. the same censorship should be applied to this subject -

Yes but on my bike I had to go the other way and have the shop create a dip and slight bump on the seat to stop me sliding off every time I braked a bit too hard !
