this is my Laptop

Medion Laptop with NVIDIA GeForce8600 M GS vga card

I bought this box

and my TV is a 3 year old Samsung Modell CS-21Z45MJA

I have connected all cables and also see a picture on the television, but it flickers and hisses. what am I doing wrong?

make sure the Video output (yellow cable) is coaxal cable not the normal A/V cable and your problems should go away.

it looks different than a normal one (bigger)....

use some RG6 coax to make the cable and put the screen res on the PC on 640x480 as your TV may not handles resolutions above that.

agreed, set the resolution to 640x480!

If you can't get it to work at a decent quality you might want to try using the SVHS-out on your laptop (if available). Read here
