Mobile Internet Working Alone?

Featured Replies

I visited an AIS office today to enquire about paying for internet usage on a mobile phone

I suggested buying 20 hours for 100Bt because I use it very little

The assistant said 350Bt was better because the internet tends to work alone when not being activated manually eg weather updates

Anybody understand /agree

Cheers

I see many people have had problems like that with iphones.

Typical problem with the iphones. But proper settings can stop that problem. There are several posts done on this forum detailing how to do this.

I just bought a Nok5233. It's asks me whether I want to connect (optional).

DTAC has promo now. 100hrs = B200

Pretty easy to do on an iPhone. Notifications off and email checking on manual. It only gets more complicated if you have a jailbroken phone and lots of jailbreak apps installed - these don't behave properly sometimes.

A friend of mine makes do with a ridiculous 25MB/month plan back home... not a typo... megabytes... :P
