What do you do when you are making a Uturn on the inside track as the THais do and suddenly you are faced with a pickup moving fast driven by a farang with the certainty that everyone will get out of his way.

Seriously I find this more intimidating than motorcycles carefully moving in the motorcycle lane slowly against the trafic flow.

When there is a bridge connecting a two lane road used as a U turn it is customary in thailand for a vehicle to stay on the inside track...the right hand side of the road not the left. Many foreigners forget this and try to drive on the left hand side of the bridge.
