Need Rush Dental Crown In Bangkok

Featured Replies

Hi-

I live and work in Indonesia and come to Bangkok for medical care. I never have more than a few days to spend in Thailand. I desperately need a root canal and crown on a molar completed within a few days (toward the end of this month)- that is unusual; most want a few weeks. It can be done, though. I had one done in Indonesia, I just really hated the dentist and don't want to go back.

I would very much appreciate any ideas or recommendations!

Thank you!

Katherine

www.bangkokdentalhospital.com I had 2 done there in march and think it took 2 days. You'll want to email and check though, they're quick to reply.

Dental Design is a fine place with their own lab on site, so they can produce crowns and bridges without the usual week wait.

However, you say you also need a root canal, and I think it's going to be difficult to find a dentist who will do that and place a permanent crown in a matter of days. As a matter of professional responsibility, most if not all good dentists wait till it's clear there's no problem with the root canal before placing a crown. And root canals themselves usually take two, maybe three visits spaced a week or so apart.

Don't try to rush your dentist.

OO yes the beautiful experience with root canals. Well you can have a temp root canal then do it later within 3 months. The back tooth will take some days maybe 2 to 4 days depending on the dentist. he has to drill in that tooth 4 times to remove and clean and seal the nerves. there are 4 nerves in them. then he has to fit a temp crown and order the crown. Unless he has the new device that can allow him to make the real crown in his/her office. You dont need a crown right away, you can get the root canal and not chew on hard things until you can get the crown. BR

You should budget a week or more to have it done. A good root canal specialist can drill and clean the roots out in one sitting (a long session), but most dentists will want to wait a week before putting in the permanent fillings and fitting the crown. The listed shops specialize in tourists and other visitors with time limitations. E-mail ahead to get an idea of the time required and to make sure that you do not need to wait for an appointment. You will pay somewhat higher prices for this special treatment.
