Bar Music - Shit Songs

Featured Replies

is it mandatory to play the same pish songs in the bars every night? of all the songs the world has ever produced why is it always the same 5hite playing.

eg

Kesha - Tik Tok

''Don’t stop, make it pop

DJ, blow my speakers up

Tonight, I’mma fight

‘Til we see the sunlight

Tick tock, on the clock

But the party don’t stop no

Woah-oh oh oh

Woah-oh oh oh''

Taio Cruz - Break your Heart

''I'm only gonna break break ya break break ya heart

I'm only gonna break break ya break break ya heart''

Justin Bieber - Baby

''And I was like

Baby, baby, baby ohhh

Like baby, baby, baby noo

Like baby, baby, baby ohh

I thought youd always be mine mine''

Anymore that grind you down whilst you're trying to enjoy a drink?

What, no Elvis?

Aren't those dance tunes really? Best go to a pub that offers non-dance music.

You haven't found a bar that's playing Hotel California? I don't believe you've even been to any beer bars. ;)

When I first arrived in Thailand it was Winds of Change or Everything You Do. If one or the other wern't playing when you arrived you could be sure it was next up.

Half the problem is that the staff have no interest in western music and the other half is that neither do the majority of the customers. Ask the average punter what music was playing in the last ten minutes and he'll likely as not answer "Music? What music?".

Walk in a bar, check what it playing and how loud. Then turn round and walk out. If we all did it more ogten someone might eventually work out why.

This was the most popular bar song in the USA (that I knew of) a few years back. Quite funny and not too difficult to find on line mp3:

Well I was drivin' down I-95 the other night

Somebody nearly cut me right off the road

I decided it wasn't gonna do any good to get mad

So I wrote a song about him instead

It goes like this...

Were you born an asshol_e?

Or did you work at it your whole life?

Either way it worked out fine

'Cause you're an asshol_e tonight

Yes you're an A-S-S-H-O-L-E

And don't you try to blame it on me

You deserve all the credit

You're an asshol_e tonight

You were an asshol_e yesterday

You're an asshol_e tonight

And I've got a feelin'

You'll be an asshol_e the rest of your life

(Instrumental Break)

And I was talkin' to your mother

Just the other night

I told her I thought you were an asshol_e

She said, "Yes, I think you're right"

And all your friends are <deleted>

'Cause you've known them your whole life

And somebody told me

You've got an asshol_e for a wife

Were you born an asshol_e?

Or did you work at it your whole life?

Either way it worked out fine

'Cause you're an aaaass...hole tonight

Just change the bar you drink in! Not like there aren't choices out there.

Just change the bar you drink in! Not like there aren't choices out there.

my point is that so many of the bars play the same 5hite - so even if I changed bars it's likely that my ears will still be poisoned at the next establishment.

I forgot to mention ANYTHING by james blunt. :bah:
