Nok Air Chiang Mai To Udon Thani

Featured Replies

Am looking at both Nok-mini and Nok air, Nok mini suspended flights from Chiang Mai to Udon a while back and Nok Mini does not list any up coming flights. However Nok Airs website lists flights starting August 1. I have tryed to call no answer to confirm and their email contact form will not send. Any One know if this is true?

Thanks Much

Not sure is Nok air still in operation.

With the problems you have all ready encountered are you sure you would want to fly with them. Do they take care of there air craft in the same manner.

Yes, flights should start again on the 1st of August - daily flight to Udon Thani. Have you tried their Chiangmai phone number- Tel : 053-922-183

Fax : 053-922-188

thanks for posting that.. They cancelled my august flight last month but was just able to book it for mid august.. even saved me on price.

They must have gotten a new plane. Was dreading that dam_n bus trip.

Nothing wrong with Nok Air. Have flown with them several times and always very good - compared with AirAsia they are streets ahead.

Must be a long time since I have read such a load of rubbish......

We all know that the CM/Udon connection is in demand and Nok Air is a reliable airline. The question is are there enough passengers to make this a viable route for an airline? If the past 20 years is an indication of success I'll put money down that this venture will not last long.

it's cheap right now. I got a round trip in mid august for 1500 baht. That is only 100 baht give or take more than the bus. No brainer

I am hoping the new plane they procured is of good airworthiness and they aren't cutting two many corners.

As of this date, no Chiang Mai to Udon Thani Nok flights scheduled Oct. or Nov.

(Sorry if this has been been posted elsewhere, but this is the thread that I found.)

Given the alternatives, it's almost as if the fates did not want the two to connect.

Thanks for the info. Not surprising as this rout even under the best of times has never been profitable for any airline. Also another indication of the down turn for the economy.

Checking flight schedules via the website is totally inconvenient.

So I just called Nok Air @1318, as I need be @ Nongkai end of October.

'fol engrish please pless nine'

Nok dude: 'hello welcome to Nok Air may I help you'

Me: 'Hello I'd like to know the schedule for Nok Air Chiangmai to Udon Thani for the last week of october, please'

Nok dude: 'hold on sir just a moment please I check for you'

(luckily no musac)

Nok dude: 'sollee sir we don't have flight schedule sir'

Me: 'huh ? why you don't have a flight schedule ?'

Nok dude: 'solly sir I don't know sir...'
