Hi all i am booked for consultation with Dr Poomee and also Dr Preecha in september, i have narrowed it down to these two surgeons for mid face, neck and upper and lower eye. Has any one got experiance of which of these two would be better for this procedure, i have had good reports about both. i will be in thailand for 3 weeks.

There also seems to be a fair difference in price between the 2, Dr Poomee being the most expensive. The communication with Dr Poome has been really good and answers emails very quickly. Also Dr Poomee wants to do it under local and Dr Preecha under general.

Would like some feedback if possible about these 2 surgeons thank you Kim

By all accounts both are excellent.

I had my facelift with Dr. Amorn (Poomee) and am 100% satisfied. But Preecha also has an excellent reputation.

Dr. Amorn gives a very natural look and is conservative in his approach. He will not do anything he doesn't think will give a good result and is not a risk taker. For me, those were all pluses but depending on what someone wants could be either a pro or a con.

One issue with Dr Preecha to be sure of is that he will actually be the one doing the surgery, as he has a large staff of docs working under him. Especially if the cost is lower, need to ascertain if he personally is really going to do the whole procedure or if it will just be done under his auspices. I'm sure any doctors un der him that he wopuld delegate to would be perfectly competent but it may not be the same as having him do it himself.

I fully agree to what Sheryl said about both the doctors. What I would like to add is: I have experience with both of them and found Dr. Preecha more skillful than Dr. Poomee and the results of his face lift are longer lasting. If you decide for Preecha you can ask him to do the surgery under local anesthesia. As Sheryl mentioned, insist that you want him to do your surgery.

Best,
