webfact Posted August 4, 2010 Share Posted August 4, 2010 Planning continues for Pattaya’s new Monorail network PATTAYA: -- When Khun Itipon was campaigning to become Mayor of Pattaya in 2008, one of his election promises was to install a monorail network here in Pattaya. At the time, the ambitious plan was welcomed by the people of Pattaya, including foreign tourists who believed the monorail would transform Pattaya. It has taken the Mayor many meetings to instigate his plans and on Wednesday Morning at Pattaya City Hall, Khun Itipon chaired a meeting to discuss the logistics of constructing the monorail and how it may impact the local community and the local environment.
