1 month old nit noi, and the remote has stopped working, tried 2 new batteries and checked they were full power with a meter..also done 2 resets on the h/u, (the little button that you press with a pen tip, behind the drop down facia) i know it reset on both occasions as the time defaulted to 12.00....still no joy, also checked the pins that touch the battery in the remote and ok...???? Anyway can one of you guys with the same suv check the following for me.. 1. when you press the remote do you get a light on the end of the remote, colour..eg red??? 2.when the h/u is powered up do you have a constant very small red light on, just below and to the left off the rotary control on the facia (i have, and there is no mention of this in the manual) or does it just light up when you press the remote functions.... Thankyou for any input , just trying to diagnose the fault before hammering into the mitsu garage..thxs

Ok, no worries....found the issue.

When pushing back the h/u after fitting the SWR, the plug for the wired steering switch had been pulled out slightly, allowing the SWR to work but not inserted enough to allow the remote control circuit to energise....moral, if you fit the SWR, double check the plug doesn`t get tugged on refitting the H/U...
