August 16, 201015 yr I went to the new Mulligans Pub at the front of Central on Beach Road, and am still recovering from being charged 130 baht for one bottle of San Miquel Light! I certainly won't be returning.
August 16, 201015 yr 130 Bt I can live with if the setting is right. I was appalled when I had to pay 340Bt for a small Kronenburg in the Huntsman, near Soi Nana, Sukhumvit, Bangkok.
August 16, 201015 yr Jeez, so how much for a beer in there? Was that daytime or night? Not that it makes any difference, I shall remeber not to bother next time i'm in town.

August 19, 201015 yr I had a meal last week, but the menu was very disappointing. Only a limited choice of items, and not much thai food. The gf's face dropped a bit too- the menu was all in English as well, no Thai. The location means they will get a lot of walk-in tourist trade, can't see them making any impact on Expat trade, unless they up their game.
August 19, 201015 yr 130 baht for one bottle of San Miquel Light and the place does not have bathroom facilities. Where can you wash your hands or perform other functions? You can use the bathroom in the mall or walk over to Soi 8 (maybe pay 5 baht). How can a restaurant located outside of a mall be approved without having toilet facilities. TheWalkingMan
August 30, 201015 yr Went in last week. 400Baht for a bottle of cider. <deleted>. Pulled the manager about it and was told not to come back if i didnt like the prices
August 30, 201015 yr I am not questioning moderation, I am simply trying to understand the benchmark of consistency. Here, we (quite rightly) have a heads-up for obscene pricing in Mulligans. That is 'name and shame' in my book. On the other hand someone scammed in a Soi 4 restaurant cannot name the place ?
August 31, 201015 yr Describing the factual prices of a place is not name and shame. It is public information.
