Thai Blackberry In Uk

hi everybody,

My mrs is wanting to take her new blackberry to the UK and I was wondering if it is necessary to get it unlocked for use in the UK?

Also, has anybody got any experience of getting a foreign blackberry unlocked in the UK or using one with a UK SIM card?

My thai-bought BB works fine here, most of them are sold unlocked in thailand unless there's a contract. No problem bunging in a UK sim.
