Color Printers

Featured Replies

I stay in Udon and went to Pantip Plaza today in BKK but had no time to make a purchase. Is there anywhere in KK (or elsewhere) that I might find a good selection of computers / printers for sale?

Selections are limited here in Udon.

Why go to Pantip Plaza then?

Its got the widest selection of IT goods throughout Thailand. Anywere you go will have less.

KKC

Central Plaza or Oasis both have many stores that sell computers and printers.

Tesco and Big C also sell them.

Tesco and C sell here also but the selection is limited.

I'll head down to KK and try Oasis there.

Thanks

Tesco and Big C would be the place I would look, If I was going to BKK I would look at MBK and I am sure there are other places also.,

But if you are looking to buy a computer printer, you must consider the cost of the ink cartridges,Many of the printer companies will sell you the printer very cheap, and make their money selling you expensive ink. consider purchasing a printer that has individual cartridges for the different colors so that when one color is low, you dont have to change all the color,

If you want to go a bit further afield, the new 3rd floor extension at The Mall Korat is packed with computer shops.

TukCom in Khon Kaen opposite the Kosa Hotel for anything computer related. I got a good deal on a printer there. Canon IP2770 with external ink tanks already fitted 1300 baht.

VERY good point. I have always been happy with the "HP ALL-IN-ONE" machine however they cannot ad an external Ink cartridge. Next one I buy will have as you said the external ink which is much cheaper in the long run.

You say nothing about quantites and coverage per page but in Thailand IMHO 'quality machine' = FujiXerox -- can be bought at TukCom KK or if you are high-volume can be bought directly from FujiXerox on SriChan Road near TukCom across from Grand Leo Hotel.
