Anyone know where to buy Indonesian ABC Kecap Manis in Bangkok or Pattaya?

Never saw it in Thailand.

But try to find in Tesco or Big C something similar.

Sweet soy Sauce from Healthy Boy Brand.

Nic and thick and sweet, like Ketjap Manis should be.

Never seen it in Thailand sorry to say. A vastly superior product to anything the Thais make and label as Kecap Manis. The only place you can find a few ml of it is inside packets of IndoMie - a vastly superior brand of instant noodles to what Thailand can make too.

I've been looking for it for three years and never seen a single bottle, sadly.

They have this to buy in the canteen at the indonesian embassy in BKK.

Anyone can go in. Thats the only place i know of.

Has anyone been inside the Indonesian Embassy?

What is the proceedure for entry at the front gate? Do they why you are there or anything? Is the canteen a store or restaurant area?

If going to the Indonesian Embassy is a hassle then wait for the Diplomatic Bazaar in Nov and March every year.

They have lots of stuff from all over the world

Not seen Ketchup Manis here. I used to buy it in the UK years ago but it was made in Holland. Try looking for a super market that sells Dutch food or possibly ask in a Dutch restaurant, they will tell you . I miss the stuff also and its not the same as ordinary sweet soy.

You will be able to get it at the Diplomatic YWCA bazaar on the 27th of Nov at Central Ladprow

I don't know where you can get it in Thailand but if you happen to visit Indonesia, try Ketjap (kecap) Bango instead, I personally think ABC kecap manis taste like a junk. Bango is just slightly more expensive but taste so much better.
