RKASA
Internet Rule 34 - if you really want this stuff to take off like the internet itself did. (internet rule #34 - for all things there is a porn version of it on the internet)
A_Traveller
The frustrating thing is that this presentation was in 2009, with suggestions then that the software would be open sourced in a month or so. Since then silence. The technology is so persuasive, and does put the flurry about i-- tablets into perspective. The impression I get is either MIT is trying to put something together [not the best hope frankly] or are, even worse, sitting on it. The really strong link is the positional aware data concept [seen in movies such as Iron Man, though faked] which is also part of the data-wall approach seen with John Underkoffler's work, {Oblong Industries} popularised in Minority Report. TED John Underkoffler's 2010 Video Note the applause for the 15 year old work again at MIT!
