I will admit, I do not buy into all of it, but it is interesting reading and many links bring up valid points, and "video and photo evidence" ?

The story seems to have holes in it on both sides. The difference between these holes on either side, is that many will never be filled because of government intervention/prevention.

Somewhere on this thread it was mentioned that there were explosions in the basement just before the planes hit. If this was true, why did the buildings not collapse immediately?

And to answer your question, yes it's a pointless struggle. A dillusional battle where both parties are sealed in their own little world and filled with their own illusions. Even those who don't believe in those fairy tales (Bush for example) finish by believing in them because of the power trip it brings along. At the end both camp will fail, self destructing from inside, like Communism did in the late 90s.

Sorry to disappoint you that men will fight over their own illusions and not big toys like in a James Bond movie. But again reality is NOT Hollywood.

Maybe you've buried your head in the sand. Did you even read the link you posted. If you did you would have read this, "Boylan said the suspected lab was new, dating from sometime after the US-led invasion of Iraq in 2003. " This 'alleged chemical weapons factory' (note the word 'alleged') was created AFTER THE US INVADED. IT WAS NOT THERE WHEN SADDAM WAS THE RULER.

I should have guesse that Boon Mee would have left out the most important piece of information in the article. He tried to pass this off as evidence that Saddam has WMD when the article he quotes flat out says that this stuff was assembled AFTER SADDAM WAS REMOVED BY THE US MILITARY. Every link that Boon Mee has posted that I have checked out has proven that Boon Mee distorts the intent of the article by leaving out important data or flat out saying that the article makes some claim when in fact it doesn't. I've mostly stopped even taking his posts serioiusly because he has distorted the information from his links every time. I only checked this one out because if it was correct it would make me think differently about Bushes claim of WMD's....but Boon Mee once agian distosrted the intent of the article. It has reinforced my view that Boon Mee's posts are all trash.

Everyone and their brother knew that Saddam coveted nukes. But not even the French, Pakistanis and Russians were crazy enough to sell him all the goods. Hello! Wake up! Saddam was never a threat with nuclear weapons. This is obvious the even the most casual of observers.

However, having clearly demonstrated the willingness to use equally deadly chemical weapons against his own people, in the 1980's war with Iran and again the 1991 Gulf War, he was a clear threat to use chemical WMDs which he did have, as well as the short and medium range delivery vehicles.

Face facts! Contrary to popular opinion, the world and the middle east are generally more stable with him out of power. All the other wanna be power brokers in the middle east are now plainly aware that their power remains only up to the point that they choose to play nicely with the other kids in the sandbox.

They are but that was not the issue prior to the invasion. The UN inspectors destroyed all the "plants" and "equipments" long time prior to the invasion and the US government was very much aware of it. They were just scared of secret Nuclear research but of course that also proved to be wrong.
