Bkk Skin Md-Recommendations Please

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I've noticed a rash and some blisters on my arm would like a skin MD to examine. Would appreciate recommendations on suitable profesionals in BKK (there are lots for "MD"s in BKK, but looking for one who is reputable, western-trained etc.). Would also appreciate ballpark figures on the cost for the consultation.

Thanks,

Rob.

Consult will normally cost 300-600 range for doctor fee plus a hundred or so for admin/nursing at major hospitals. Fee for medications/tests would be additional.

As for doctors the major hospital web sites have lists of there doctors with basic qualifications listed.

Thanks for replying. I am hoping to get recommendations on specific MDs and clinics.

The dermatology clinic at Bumrungrad is separate from the main building which make access and appointments easier.

Dr. Niyom Tantikun is an excellent dermatologist but specialises mostly in skin surgery but may be able to assist.

His English is very good; search for him on the Bumrungrad site.
