The Gazette has received many letters of complaint about the state

of Saiyuan Road in recent weeks. Photo by citizen reporter "RS".

PHUKET: -- Residents of Rawai should be reminded that there will be another scheduled power outage from 9am to 4pm tomorrow as the Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) continues its work on power lines in the area.

The blackout will affect Wiset Road, from Saiyaun Road south to Nai Harn Beach, including Soi Khok Yang, Soi Hua Pru, Soi Khok Makham and Soi Naya.

As always, the PEA apologizes for any inconvenience.

For more information contact the Operations and Maintenance Department of the Provincial Electricity Authority (Tel: 076-211663 x45311; Fax 076-219966).

Getting a bit redundant isn't it? Where do the PEA employees go on the days they are not working on this particular stretch of road? Makes sense to me to hit one area, get it finished, then move on.

>>better buy a generator soon

When I was building my house, having a generator was a requirement for me.
