I dislike it too, but the dogs they react very extreme to it.

In my house Thai TV and Thai music are banned because it s*cks, but my dogs seem to have even stronger anti-feelings, while they are Thai dogs... Interesting ! Is there a culture change going on ?

Depending on which subdivision you live in you'll hear me howling for the exact same reason. :( I can't stand those blaring speakers.

Maybe they're praying along with the monk. We used to have a Rottweiler that howled when the ice cream vendor came by playing that "aum la du, aum la du" music.

My cat would be better for that, but I can't toss him very far. Fact is I can't get him to do anything he doesn't want.

Will throwing a tomboy also works ? What you think ?

I have a King Charles Spaniel that is not so secretly a Thai patriot. Anytime the TV's on and the Thai national anthem comes up, she howls along like she knows the song. As soon as the TV's muted, she clams up and looks around as if wondering where the band went.

Isn't it strange how young men differ from dogs. Slappers suggests throwing in a tom cat to sort out the noisy dogs. If you threw a little pussy amoungst a couple of young guys the opposite may occur.

I think that would work on some of us old guys as well, Bill. :)
