Problem With Nissan Sunny

Featured Replies

Last year I bought a Nissan Sunny 12y old in good condition. Everything was fine. I decided to install a LPG system to save some Baht.

At the beginning the car was running very good. But after some weeks I had problems with low RPM. The engine turns off when I stop the car at red light or cross roads. Actually the RPM are ok but they “swing” and sometimes they going down from 800 to 400 or even 300 and the engine turns off.

The garage where I installed the LPG told me that there might be another problem with the car and I should change the ignition distributor. Changed it at Nissan and for some weeks everything was fine.

Unfortunately the same problem came back again. Nissan told me with the car is everything ok and there could be a problem with the LPG system. The LPG service told me with the gas system is everything fine and there is another problem with the car. Great!

So I drove the last months with this problem but yesterday it changed to worst. Now the engine runs like a tank with 300 RPM in fuel and gas mode.

Can someone suggest me

a) - Where to find a good car service in Prawet / Srinakarin area

B) - Which part of the car could be failure

Thank you very much!

spark plug problem maybe. are there special plugs for lpg
