Hi

can anyone recommend somewhere to get a car exhaust fixed?

It's a clean-ish break between the last joint and the back box

so should be fairly easy to weld....

Hang Dong-ish side of town would be better-ish

thanks

Unless something happened (ie hitting something) to cause it to break it may well be a better to replace the section of exhaust as they do wear out and getting thiner. Sorry can't help with repairer.

If you do get talked into replacing the muffler be aware! You may be told you are getting a genuine replacement part and charged accordingly but in actuality getting a Thai built/rebuilt genuine copy. I had that happen here where I had the choice a genuine Toyota muffler that had to be ordered from Japan and take 3 days or a Thai built custom fit installed a lot cheaper and right now. I opted for the genuine Toyota muffler and came back later to have it installed only to find out it was a Thai copy with a Toyota label slapped on it. Not saying there is anything wrong with the Thai one but the fact I was going to be charged for the more expensive option.

HI thanks for the answers

Wifey went out and got it fixed next to Airport Plaza.

They just replaced the whole pipe to the existing box . . .

650 baht... bargain!

no idea what age or car model yo driving , the original is still the best .

unless you re modifying cars like i usually do , even so over the years i find that original is the best .

.

if it simple welding you can jolly well go any where since is a simple task ..

i personally let my exhust work done near change puek . the guys is a old racer and he know what he is doing .

is about 300 meter away from the change puek mini bus station -

if you look out on the right hand side you should spot it . about 200-300 meter-

good luck if you need a map let me know .
