SwaziBird
For those who've not yet been to the theatre, you will find on your (highly recommended)) visit, that running the full extent in front of the very wide stage is a channel of water, complete with water jets spraying and playing. Very nice. When those brilliant dancers come dashing ( and other things they do with dance-steps ) up to the edge of the stage, you can't help but feel that at least one of them is more than likely to miss his/her mark and dive into that great big fountaining trough. The anticipation is scary. But the tension builds climactically when lead dancers come forward of the stage to tap/skip/hop ( and other things they do with dance-steps ) from one to another of the three or four very small stepping-stone style platforms that actually stand in the trough. The splash could be very entertaining - I think not ! Good chance that it happened during rehearsals. This is just an added dimension to the enjoyment of the spectacular show. The great troupe will show their appreciation for your support when you leave the theatre. Cheers. Edited October 14, 2010 by SwaziBird

harrry
We have had three fall ins...unfortunately during the show...not the rehearsals!!! With the dancer's professionalism I am sure they handled it well. Anyone for water ballet?

Greenside
Since the other thread has disappeared to wherever they go to, I'll just use this opportunity to thank Sam for the invite to the show this week. It's an ambitious production performed enthusiastically by a cast who must work almost as hard behind the scenes doing the quick costume changes as they do on stage. No problem falling in for this crew, they brought their own boat.....
