I just need some individual shelves to fit into already existing cabinets and closets. I also need a box like a drawer with no front to raise my laptop higher so I don't look like I have osteoporosis.

Material the same as the cheap closets and dressers offered all over town. I tried one of the furniture places that make their own in back but what they presented to me looked like something designed by M.C. Escher and assembled by a four-year old.

Preferably someplace in the Southern half of CM district but it really doesn't matter.

Thanks but been there, done that and there seems to be no standard sizes of things here. I could saw the ends off I suppose but I would like something a bit more finished.

At Big C Super Highway. As you are coming into the driveway there are 2 furniture shops on your left before pulling into the Big C parking lot. The 1st one builds just what you are looking for. The one next-door is higher end. I've had several shelves built there to order. Not expensive, practical and they are well built.

Thanks for that. However, I went there today and there is nothing there but buildings in the process of being torn down.

We went to the Winner furniture place South of the Lotus on Hangdong Rd and placed our order. The girl at the desk described our needs over the phone to some guy who does it outside CM somewhere. Now THAT should be interesting but it will be a week before I find out.
