Have been using Wireless IP cameras on my True Internet for over a year with no problems, however from around the 21st of this month have found that we cannot connect the cameras to our server. Did all the usual and found all the equipment we use works perfectly on TOT Internet. The True engineers have changed everything that could possibly go wrong at our end, but say they haven't changed anything on the network side. Anyone else out there experiencing problems with IP Cameras and True Internet ?

Check to see if UDP is allowed across the network. TCP is used for stateful connections, UDP is stateless and is often used for low latency flows. Check the IP camera documentation for which port and protocol is used.

Here's a link to some diagnostic tools to help: http://protocoltesting.com/trgen.html

Simple ping and traceroute (win tracert) can be used to check network path from IP camera to server.

I think you need t tell us a little about your setup first.... Are your server on the same LAN? Do you have any routers in between....What is the servers function in this setup? Where are you when you try to reach the camera?

Camera brand/model, software?
