Please Help Me To Stay In Thailand (Visa, Wp)

Featured Replies

Hi, hope some of you can help me.

I'm in Koh Samui for 3 months (2 months visa+1 extend) (can we then go back, renew this 2 month visa, go back, renew, .. all the year?)

After we come back to europe for a few weeks, then we want to live there.

I am with my GF there.

The only thing we want is staying there for 1, 2, 3 years.

I went to lawyers.

One sait I have to pay (approx) 40K for thai company, plus 30K for 2 WP.

And additional 4K/year

With this, I have to go out of Thailand every 3 months

Second said 2 solutions

a) at MINIMUM, about 40+30K for thai company and WPs. Plus 7K/month to smilate 1 employee (and I will have to leave every 3 months)

B) about 40+30K for thai company and WPs. Plus 12K/months for 2 months to simulate 8 employees while doing the visa (4 for each WP), then 8K for each 10 months (1 employee staying only), and again the full 8 employees before renewing visa....... + visa cost, 17K/person. With this I dont have to leave thailand.

So what do you think about all this? In any case do I have to maintain one employee so pay 7K each month? First lawyer didnt say that.

Other solution, a friend of mine has a thai company (he doesnt employ) but he says if I pay 10K for each of us, he can ask his accountant to make a paper saying he want to employ us, then I will get 1 year visa. What do you think? These 10K/person would be to cover fees, taxes, accountant, ...

Otherwiste, as we dont plan to work here, I am thinking about an ED Visa...

Thanks again.

The ED visa would be legal if you meet the conditions. But your probably able to stay for some time using tourist visas. Vientiane currently provides a two entry to most applicants.

Go to Hull, UK and get a 1-year Non-O multi-entry visa.

You will need to pop out of Thailand every 90-days to stay current and legal and if you time the last re-entry for a couple of days before the visa expires, you get another 90 days stay. So almost 15 months legal stay.

The next option is the ED visa and I think if getting a Non-O starts getting harder, then it's a real option.

No need to form a company and go through all that lawyers rigmarole unless you are intending working and conducting an actual business in Thailand.

Your lawyers and your friends seem to be making moneymaking and/or dodgy options up for you. However, it's probably being done all the time.

Now, if you want to just overstay and take the chance of 20k baht fine and a note on your record, I am sure that option is already being milked by a fair few.

1.If you are able to get it, a Multi Entry Non Imm O Visa from Hull UK will give up to 15 months.

2.Sign up with a Thai Language School and get an Ed Visa.

3. Back to back Tourist Visas.
