Where To Fix Computer Monitor In Bangkok?

Featured Replies

Either Fortune Town or Pantip Plaza would be acceptable locations. My monitor isn't working properly.

about an year ago, i went to Pantip 2 in Bangkok because i wanted to find out how much would cost me to replace the lcd display for an old notebook, i ask for a quote on almost all stands that could fit in with this particular task, it was cheaper to buy a brand new external lcd with his own stand (and even bigger size) than getting the original internal lcd replaced....

Edit: additional info

the cheapest external old style monitor started from 500 baht, while the flat monitors start from around 3.500 baht, look around as from one stand to the next, the price tag gap can be huge for the same product.....

There's a place on the top (ish) floor of Fortune Town - never can remember the name but its down the corridor a little away from the atrium/Tesco end of the complex and is mostly a big open store with their repair counters on full view. Haven't used it myself, but have seen people recommend it here on TV.

I won't be setting foot in that den of thieves and perverts at Panthip before Satan takes to wearing thermal underwear.

That would be Amorn

What brand of monitor do you have? Personally I would look for the manufacturer's local service center.

ESD is the place you want.. it's an authorized repair center for many brands of monitors and they repair all brands. Monitors are all they do.

It's right off Srinakarin about 2km's after Patthakarin but before Seacon Square..

If you're interested and can't find it's website.. I can get you the GPS coordinates. They've repaired several of my high-end monitors and have given good service at reasonable prices.

That's it - knew there was an 'M' involved somewhere...

I've fixed the spelloing error in the thread title :)

Amorn is great for fixing your average Chinese stuff, but I'd not trust them with a high-end anything.

"I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"

Amorn is a great place for DIY'ers. Kinda like a Chinese Radio Shack.

Post #5. What brand is it? TIA

Samsung. Anyone know if there is a Samsung repair closer to the CBD than ESD, or if ESD has an alternative location?
