Re-Installing Printer Driver Problem

Featured Replies

I have recently had a system re-install of XP on my laptop (Wattana in Pattaya). Today I was trying to reinstall my 'Canon' printer driver (MP460) and it will only do it in Thai language from the CD that was sold with the machine 3 years ago. Last time I installed the driver it did it automatically in English from the same CD ?!! I have explored the CD and cannot change it back to English. I even tried to download a new driver from the internet and when I click to run it comes up in Thai again - completely confused !!!

Change the system locale to English...

Control Panel >> Regional and Language Options.

Actually you must go to Regional and Language Options then to Advanced and then change Language for non Unicode programs to English.

I know because it took me a frustrating hour to figure it out with my printer.
