Kaspersky Pure

Featured Replies

Has anyone try Kaspersky PURE? Please share your experience.

I tried it and never had any problems, but then again I never did before. After the trial ran out I binned it and installed Microsoft Security Essentials, which is free to legitimate owners of Windows. Personally I'd recommend trying Microsoft Security Essentials before parting with any cash, assuming you are running a legit copy of Windows.

I see. I still stick with Kaspersky PURE, now they have a new release of R2. ;)

Version 9.1.0.124

Thank you for your sharing. :jap:

I have it on three PC's at home. Non-intrusive. Good anti-spam for Outlook. Works for me.

Kaspersky consistently tests in the top three or four for detection rates. MSE has excellent detection but slow scanning speed. I still use NOD32 myself, but in the last several years almost all major AV companies have improved dramatically.
