Best Bkk Night-Club On Tuesday Night?

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I'm taking a friend out on the town tomorrow night, and I am at a loss as to where to take him.

Not looking for women ..... freelance, not-for-profit, or otherwise ...... just looking for an ok spot with a good vibe (note - the presence of free-lancers is not of-putting)..

While the music in Bed-Sup is ok, the crowd is boring on the best of nights, much less on a Tuesday (I would imagine).

He's been to Q-bar before, and to be heonst I think the place is of limited value..... but I haven't ruled it out.

Climax is both flakey and not either of our scene.

Narz is going to be dead (I would imagine) - if it is even open?

I hear the Nana-Liquid is actually quite a good spot, despite of the abundance of free-lancers...... but usually full 7 days a week, reasonable prices, and good music to boot? Comments?

The new Insomnia seems to be getting crappy reviews.

I don't like RCA (full of poser muppet mommy's boy thai <deleted> that think they are gangsters in their pimped out vios sharing a bottle of black label between 10 thinking they are the muts-nutts).

Anywhere else along Sukhumvit, or even down Silom or somewhere not too far off the beaten track?

Ulitmately, I'm just looing for somewhere that will not be dead and has reasonable dance music.

Many thanks in advance.

CM

Ya can check out RCA area you'll probably find something there. Then theres CM2,hard rock cafe,at siam square,And Dawng Dang,it's A thai nightclub, bands etc.It can be alot of fun especially at korat, khon kaen, and udon thani.I'm not sure about Bangkok.

I never understood the point of going to clubs if one is not looking for women

<_< Music and dancing. Now you understand!

Nana Liquid's music policy is among the best within the after-hours (post-2am) scene. The resident DJ has a great ear for a tune and, joy of joys, you won't hear any Ian Van Dahl-esque plodding bassline trance or Insomnia-type cheesy floor-fillers; just deep tech house with syncopated beats and irresistible grooves.

Also, Glow on Suk 23 has a rep for quality house music of the more soulful Masters at Work/Kerri Chandler genre. Haven't been for a while but still hearing good reports.

Yep, I agree, music and dancing!

I was encouraged by your mention of deep tech house @ nana liquid, but dis-heartened somewhat when a youtube search revealed a band 'singing' "woo hoo.... tonight's gonna be a good good night" and on another, a remix of 'you spin me right round baby right round...like a record baby....'

Hardly Terry Francis or Eddie Richards is it?

Hopefully you'll be able to let me know that this was an 'off night' or two? :)

I've always fancied the look of Glow, music on their website is pretty good, never been in BKK long enough to warrant a visit. I'll be putting that right next time! :)
