Cost Of New Air-Conditioner Compressor (Pump)

My air-compressor/pump has failed and I'm trying to get a rough idea of cost. I understand (anecdotally) it is around 20,000 for the 2008 Camry but this isn't a firm price. Does it seem reasonable?

Can I get a refurbished pump?

I'm guessing that's about right. Mine failed on my civic (at 150K kms and 6 years ). I didn't get the genuine honda part as it was twice as expensive as an aftermarket brand from a local aircond shop. I paid about 12K with fitting. Just the clutch component from honda was 8K, twice that of the non genuine part.

Unusual that it has failed in under 2 years, I have seen other threads where the repair shop said a new compressor was required and another shop found a simple fault that cost less than 2000 baht to repair.
