Last year I had CATCOM OVATION MC727, total mobile internet. I had no probleme, it was fast and no download. My question is now: can I use them evan this year or is there better providers, what shall I think about. I´m staying near to Fantasea.

cloudy and overcast today. best i have seen is 900 kbps

I haven't seen any change in reported speeds for the CAT EV-DO Rev A cards (the MC-727 is Rev A) over the past year: some places it's pretty good (1.5 or more Mbps download from the US); other places it's horrible (0.1 or 0.2 Mbps, which isn't any better than GPRS on an old mobile phone). In Kamala, much seems to depend on your physical location - and the only way to tell for sure is to go whever you're headed and run a speed test.

I havae a new laptop and Windows 7. Do you know if I must upgrade something for use of ovation MC727?
