Once again I cannot see any video.

Don't know why. If I log on to U-toob I see all I want, same with Vimeo, etc. Just embedments in TV that are now not showing, even those that I watched (and downloaded) a couple of weeks ago.

it is not embedded HB, it is a download, you must download to your computer to watch

OK, I eventually managed to get it via Jet Audio - no way could I just click and watch.

It also closed my hotmail account and all other tabs that were open at the time.

SBK - why don't you come to Saigon and enjoy VN Internet?

Or maybe it's my Acer laptop that's the problem. It's an Aspire 9413ZWSMi that cost me a fortune in Saudi and was recommended by the IT expert from Saudi Aramco who happens to live in Hua Hin. If I ever catch up to him ..........

It's a very clever ad...and I'd expect 14-15 year olds to get it without any explanation.

However, not that I mind the mental imagery, I do tend to agree with "feminists" about the increasing incidence of sexual objectification of women in advertising. The agency responsible should come up with a male version in the interests of gender balance.

About the only thing which will reduce the sexual objectification of women in advertising is if men are similarly objectified and object to it. however, most men couldn't care less and can't understand why women care about it either.

So you're saying, to be fair, they should be as vulgar and and condescending as they can to opposite genders? A race for the bottom, as it were.

She was only doing push-ups with a bottle on her back.

When I was in full training I had to do push-ups with a front-row forward sitting on my back. Now that took effort.

She was only doing push-ups with a bottle on her back.

That's exactly what I was thinking HB. People and their smutty minds eh! whistling.gif

Push-ups? Odd sort of push-ups. I thought she was giving a blow job while getting it doggy style, and a double penetration from underneath..

Must be my smutty mind.

No, just wishful thinking

No, not my intention. However, if there were male and female versions of the same type then the argument would only be about advertising standards and not gender.

Oh, ok. I thought we were already talking about the baseness of advertising standards.

Yes, that is true. Our discussion is regarding advertising standards and we obviously have different opinions on that. But a wider discussion would inevitably raise the gender issue as well.

Advertising always tends to appeal to the basest emotions and sex sells anything, even to women, and especially beer to men.

I think these are better (shame they're advertising one of the worst beers in the world though):

^^I always thought that thai TV adverts are quite good and on par with anything in the west...the best thing about thai TV, really...:)

laugh.gif good one moonrakers !

yes its amazing isnt it how alcohol has such an effect on peoples vision in certain circumstances when looking at the opposite sex.

if only there was something on the market you could buy. a bit like the hare of the dog for those mornings you wake up, have a look and realize what terrible mistake you've made. sad.gif

You mean those mornings when you'd rather gnaw your arm off instead of waking her because she's sleeping on it?

Et tu!

There must be a market for it.

^

Shame it's crap beer though!

Yeah, but The Dam_n Busters sub-theme was clever.
