I have just opened a new tab in firefox and gone to the "forum" page from my history. I have the news thread opened in another tab, and was signed in as "whybother".

In opening the page, I have suddenly been signed in as "jomtiened" without any log in screen. I also went the other tab and refreshed it, and I was also "jomtiened" there.

It appears that my cookies have somehow been messed up.

I will close down firefox and report back soon.

OK. I'm back to normal now.

So who is "jomtiened" and how did you become 'linked' ?

Are the multiple nicks for two personalities or just to be bad.

No idea how I became linked. I opened the main forum page using my history, and suddenly I was jomtiened.

One thing that was interesting that I haven't mentioned yet, is even though the url was for the main forum page, it opened up the Bangkok forum page.

I didn't realise until I noticed I had read a couple of threads that it said I hadn't read.

Could be a weird cache issue with the ISP or something. The account is now disabled pending contact with it's owner. Thank you for letting us know about this.

I had a similar issue with another forum (no, not that one, thebox.bz) I got signed in as another member, turned out we share the same ISP and the caching had got screwed.

A few of us are now wondering how to sign in as the poster who's comments we would rather not see....and get 'em banned!

How lucky would that be then?
