The worst thing I see on Thai roads
Honestly this probably one of the most common ways to get hurt for newcomers. If you were to simply think you had right of way and drove straight in the left lane you will have a crash in no time. The speed limits (not that they're followed anyways) are often 90k even on roads with side roads. You better be prepared to swerve around cars nudging out into the road because that's guaranteed to happen. This would be such an easy thing to give people tickets for but of course that's never going to happen. -

Breaking the Silence: Former UK Special Forces Reveal Allegations of War Crimes
Eye-witnesses have gone public in producing evidence. Without that there would be no news (i.e.public knowledge) of these accusations, or of anything else for that matter. And no incentive for officialdom to take interest; but rather to sweep the matter under the carpet. There should now be an official investigation. Followed, if the evidence warrants it, by prosecutions. If the accepted behaviour of British forces is to be determined by the behaviour of their opponents, this brings into question the reason they are there in the first place. Perhaps nothing to do with human rights? But perhaps the economic interests of vested interests?
