Thanks for the great pictures David. Really does tell a story about what happened up there.

Have some friends at the Little Eden resort they report all went ok there, good to hear.

hope to buy you a beer in late sept. when i return for a visit.

Have updated with my own photos from yesterday & today - check em out.

Pretty awesome stuff out there & worth checking out - it will take weeks, if not months, to clean up the damage.

Believe me, its scary!

Some parts of town were "untouched" & so still normal. There's still plenty of rooms & restaurants functioning normally so the town certainly has not been wiped off the map. Just some parts have been extensively damaged, seriously!

Again it's worth checking out for an overnight trip!

Penh at Little Eden is ok. No real damage to speak of, but the water level came into her property - about 1 metre over the sala sun deck she has overlooking the Nam Lang river / stream.

Found this site - the Pangmapha Hospital - with photos of the floods in Soppong

worrth checking out to get an idea how serious & big the flood was.
