Hi I am offering a book swapping service from my new coffee shop in Chalong and need a donation of any unwanted books to get me started I will pick them up and may be able to pay a small amount if required... I dont sell them its literally a service offered to the clients (a lot of them people on yachts who are tired of reading the same books) to swap their old books for new ones 1 for 1 Any donatins would be gratefully received by me and my customers

The guy just wants a book exchange in chalong which is seriously lacking there at the moment....the nearest bookshop is close to the zoo...and it looks very germanic....i will gladly be involved in exchanging books....also isnt the reason why we are here is advertising and information sharing??? If you know everything what are you doing on this information sharing website?

If they would just spend a little money on some soap i think maybe i could tolerate sitting next to them in the bar.

I am willing to pay for the books but also am aware that people move/ go home and cant take them with them. I already have approx 150 books in English and other languages but would like a larger selection. I buy them then when I am finished give them to the shop for the clients, also I have clients donating books and swapping.

The whole idea was to save people from having to go to the shop near the Zoo or to Kata - I thought that was a good thing!

Anyway if anyone has any books that they want to donate or SELL then I will be happy to talk to them. Thanks

OP - I don't really have an old selection to give away, however I will keep you in mind when the times comes for a new book!
