Shaving Brush (Old Fashioned Wet Shave)

Featured Replies

Shaving Brush (old fashioned wet shave)

My old one just died and I've only been able to find a cheap (and

useless) one at Tokyu (MBK).

Any one seen a good quality shaving brush for sale in BKK.

fyi unless u have actually used a quality shaving brush, u'll not be

aware of the vast difference between a cheap ฿40 brush and a good

quality €15 one.

I've checked. Don't have in Thailand. Have in Europe but not in Thailand

I bought my brush at Emporium but quality I would say - is second rate.

I use soap and my hands, am I missing something here?

shampoo does the trick for me :D

PLEASE try to keep with the OP

Kuhn F. -- anyone who says to just use a can has never used a good brush and soap...

http://vdhent.com -- they make the soap for The BodyShop

I do not know where in LOS to go however these people sell through their store at amazon.com so shipments to Thailand are most likely doable ... I just bring the supplies with me on trips to USA ... the soap lasts almost forever.

Suggest you find your nearest barbers shop & ask them (or get a friend to ask them in Thai) where they get their supplies. I've seen many barbers use the old fashioned method to shave customers. A good place to start is Soi Polo - off Wireless, between Soi Ruam Rudee & Lunphini police station. I've used a shop off Ruam Rudee at the corner of the 'L' which leads on to Soi Polo.

good idea Ken but most unfortunately use a poor quality brush -- But thanks for ur idea

I have seen adverts for a old English style barbers shop pop up on Facebook, in the Conrad hotel in Bangkok. Perhaps they sell supplies as well?

Perhaps this item sent using the already mentioned 3rd party shipper would do?

Anyways, I find this particular brush to work just fine for me...

LOL. For gun oil & gun cleaning.

A shaving brush is made of Badger hair.

Condolences to cheap charlie op.

Did he come on here to srat a fight?

Your question was asked & answered.

Well since it appears impossible to find a reasonable shaving brush in Bangkok, I've decided on getting my brother to post me a Wlikinson Sword Finest Bristle Shaving Brush from home

Was that so hard to do as a small package it wont cost much also.

"Was that so hard to do" -- perhaps best to be polite on TV rather than rude and arrogant -- The OP was seeking help from nice people who might have seen a shaving brush in Thailand. My last post was closure for those who may have been curious as to whether I'd been able to find it in BKK

Thanks for ur reply, but please try to be polite. Too many rude geriatrics on this forum.
