Take a bus from the North Pattaya bus station to Morchit, and get a bus from there to Ayutthaya. I highly doubt that there is direct bus service from Pattaya to Ayutthaya, even if there was, it wouldn't be any faster.

You could enquire at the VIP bus ticketing office. They operate semi-express buses, that bypass Bangkok.

Buses to other locations pass through Ayathidha, is they don't have a specific service.

The office is on Suk --- travel up Pattaya Klang, until you reach Sukhimvit. Turn right and the office is located about 250 metres on the left. You will normally see some buses entering or leaving.

Tickets are a little more expensive than the slower service via Bangkok.

You can try Nakornchai Air at the bus station on Sukhumvit near Pattaya Klang.

They go to Chiangmai-Chiangrai and one of the regular ( non-express bus ) does the local run and stop in Ayuthaya.

The Express VIP does not stop there for passenger.
