Dental Problems In Bangkok

Featured Replies

Its common knowledge that Bangkok has a wide variety of Dental Practioners , But I have found the prices and the advice extreme. Example. I need root canal treatment and a new crown on a molar . I having another done at Mahidol Uni Teacher hospital but because its so busy I cant get the other one done.

So I look around and 2 different practises give 2 different prognosis, One tells me I also need gum suregery and another tells me I Dont. and prices range from 30,000-45,000 bht.

Can some give me a Bangkok Dentist with good honest advice ,reasonable prices and not trying to rip me off to pay for the plush surroundings and vast staff. I saw a link on TV about a young Thai who is recommended but I cant find the threat here now.

The Bangkok Dental hospital on Soi 49 Sukhumvit is excellent quality and reliable. It is not, however, inexpensive.

But would be a good place to get an evaluation and recommendations as to what you do and do not really need. Suggest you go just for a simple check up and see what they say.

In terms of having the work done, no place is as inexpensive as Mahidol, but as you have seen, with government hospitals there is a trade-off in terms of conveneience and the time required.
