German Man Dead Inside His Soi Beokeow Apt

German man discovered dead inside his Soi Beokeow Apartment.

Police Sub-Lieutenant Santipon from Pattaya Police Station was called to Marine Tree Place in Soi Beokoew after staff reported a foul odor coming from one of the rooms. Inside room number 304 the badly decomposed body of Mr. Marcus Wagner aged 37 from Germany was found. Initial inspections of the body and the room suggested the man may have not been alone when he died. Around the room were many packets of condoms and lubricating jelly and also he was on medication prescribed by the Pattaya International Hospital for Insomnia. An initial theory from Police states that the man may have taken a woman from a bar and either during or after sexual intercourse he suffered a heart attack. Police are now awaiting the results of a post mortem examination and are appealing for any Thai woman who may recognize this man to come forward and assist Police with their enquiries. Representatives from the German Embassy in Bangkok are also assisting Police with this case.

Perhaps a ladyman drugged his drink and he died and he/she robbed his place. 37 is too young to die, with condoms and lubricants at the ready. I think the lubricant might be the clue here.

The pills prescribed for insomnia will probably be benzodiazipines which when mixed with alcohol amplify GABA inhibitors; death from asphixiation of inhaled vomit is a possibility; I doubt the MI hypothosis.

anywhere farangs go is a shit hole. Infact I believe the opposite I believe the farang

places are very nice indeed. What I do believe is that most of the long term guys in

Thailand are bored broke and lonely, based on people I have met there and spoke to

over the last 6 years.

Around Soi Buakaow there are many 'long-term' men who are found every night in the bars and go-gos. They may not be permanent residents, but here for six months or more at a stretch.

Some doing their redundancy money, some work on the rigs or other oil-related jobs. If the latter, they are used to someone cleaning up after them, so may live in a pigsty over here.

Not everyone wants the same life style. Live and let live.

Go-go bars ? I rarely frequent them & then only when a mate comes over from the UK. I certainly don't bother introducing myself to strangers in them.

I am enjoying life here - great wife & kid, a few houses, nice car & I manage to save 80% of my salary. Early retirement is guaranteed if nothing changes...

The majority of my friends here are professional expats on good packages or running their own businesses. These are the types of people I meet at places where I regularly hang out. As I'm in Bangkok & in my mid-30's I meet people mostly in the English/Irish pubs, hotel bars, occasional concerts, social events, house parties, the gym etc. The kind of places where regular people would go back home.

I think the people you are referring to also keep to their own territory of gogo bars, whorehouses etc. I have heard many stories of people coming out here & spending the proceeds of house, redundancy etc. Mostly on women. Can't say I have much sympathy.

If you are meeting people in whorehouses, you shouldn't expect too many high-flyers....

Where I go, it's regular guys & girls enjoying life that are in the majority.

I think Rocky has the "high moral ground" here. if that is possible, or at least I have to agree with him. Although there are some "normal Joe" types with real jobs in BKK most are eccentric expats on the fringe or sexpats scraping by. I much enjoy this expat comradery. Pattaya is as Rocky describes, long timers are primarily low life. To be fair, from a cleanliness perspective, the whole Country is a filthy mess, aka shithole, as that is how Thais choose to live. I notice it is the Thais throwing their shit on the ground not the Farangs. Depending on your vantage point you may or may not be aware of any of these obvious points.

German dies after a sexual liaison

Unknown lady involved steals all his valuables – has the nipple gang returned?

A German tourist who died during a sexual liaison lay undiscovered in his hotel room for at least two days before a hotel employee complained to police of a bad smell emanating from the room.

Responding to a call on August 30 from Miss Mai Pohthaisong, a receptionist at a hotel on Soi Buakao, police entered the 4th floor room where they found the dead body of Ulf Markus Wagner, a 37-year-old German national, laying on his back and in a state of putrefaction. They estimated that he had been dead for at least two days.

There was no trace of any injuries, but there was blood on his mouth and nose and his tongue was blocking his air passage. His penis was swollen and covered in semen. Police sent the corpse to medical authorities for an autopsy.

Checking the room, the officers found a woman’s slip beside the bed, two KY tubes, one of which had been used, and a lot of condoms on the table beside the bed and on the dressing table. One foreign witness made a statement to the police that before his death, Wagner was often seen in the company of different Thai ladies and was visited in his room every night, when he made a lot of noise. The witness had complained about it often. He said that three days ago at about 2 a.m. he saw a lady came out of the dead man’s room and hurry away.

Mai, the receptionist, said that Wagner had checked in on August 3 and deposited his properties in a safety deposit box. She didn’t have the key and the police could not find it in the room. However, the box was found to be unlocked and empty.

Police surmise that the cause of death was choking following a sexual liaison and that the female involved had panicked, taking his property with her before locking the door and going away.
