Hi the wife likes around Central, Rama 3, I prefer close to transport, BTS, MRT. Looking for a serviced appartment/ condo, cable TV, wifi, in a complex with a pool. Around 40m2, for approx 500bt per night or up tp 20,000 per month. EG: http://www.piyavan.com/

Was going to suggest "Northgate" on Ratchada, near SCB Park, everything you are looking for, excellent place, but maybe too out the way for you and is THB 2000/day for a studio includes free breakfast/ free internet etc....may be able to do a deal with them....but highy recommended

Hi yer there is lots of sites of there, but its cutting through the bullshit. Anyone had any experiences or places they can reccomend? remember this is for a short term rental I am happy to pay for 1 month even tho I am staying for 3 weeks. Plus I am writing this after attending a BD party where I am the only farrang and everyone wants to drink with the Farrang

Northgate as posted, stay there every time I am in town/the office...pools on the roof, restaurants down the road at Major complex, restaurant in Northgate compex reasonably good food, laundry rate fair etc.....little bit of a taxi ride to Sky train and sub-way...but that the drawn back I have found

The Evergreen Hotel on Sathorn Road is very nice , you can have a lovely suite there for around $200.00 per night.. Or if you are a member of Eva Air flight club you get 50% discount..

$200 = 6000 baht ... not quite the 500 baht per night the OP was looking for.
