I've searched all the threads, but can't seem to find anything. We will be driving cross-country with our large dog (Golden), and we need to stay one night in or near Bangkok. Anywhere from Swampy airport to Rangsit would be ok. any suggestions? I suppose we would be better off at a "Thai-style" resort, which is in effect, a country motel. I just don't know of any around Bangkok offhand?

Any suggestion would be appreciated.

I think it will be hard to find a hotel which allows dogs inside.

Most Thai people are not really dog lovers and even less excepting dogs inside hotels.

The Conrad Bangkok Hotel seem to allow big dogs, but ask an enormous surcharge

The Millennium Hilton hotel and Fraser Place Service Residences also seem to be (big) pet friendly

Thanks for the replies. I'm not optimistic, and we may just change our plans so we drive through longer, unless we can find a thai-style bungalow resort place before then that would allow a big dog. I'll post back on this thread after next week on results.

It provides hotel names and an indication of fees. Youcan book the hotels off of any travel site or the hotels themselves.

I think Millennium Hilton, though not near the airport, has a very friendly policy towards dogs. No size limit and no charge.
