Hello everyone.

The Roomfinder project needs a web designer.

The company I usually use are snowed under with big projects at the moment so I'm looking for a decent web designer to help out with the following site updates as soon as possible:

* A ‘Quick Search’ facility adding to the home page.

* Add the ‘National Search’ facility (pages already designed)

* Configure the Switch for the Thai version

* CMS repair & update

* And a few other bits and bobs

A few technical details:

Site constructed using Dreamweaver

PHP (version 4.3.10 or newer)

GD Library (version 2.0.28 compatible)

MySQL (any version)

I've had a number of let-downs over the years with both Thai and foreign web designers in Bangkok. There are plenty of them but it's really not easy finding the good ones and the higher prices do not always guarantee the best work.

The above updates are just additions to the existing site and I’ve done all the preparation. What I need is technical expertise to integrate these into the working site.

Any offers or recommendations would be appreciated but must be able to start quickly as I’m 2 months behind schedule now.

it sounds to me like you need a web developer, not a designer. i have one friend you can try- keng at hostify.com. otherwise, keep in mind you get what you pay for here. good luck!

That's a good point about the developer girlx.

I was just using the term ‘designer’ in a general sense but it could be confusing. I've since made the changes to the post.

Thank you to everyone who emailed me about the Roomfinder project over the past few days.

All those that applied for the job seemed qualified to carry out the site updates but obviously there can only be one that gets the work.

After careful consideration I’ve decided to go with a reputable local company and the site updates will commence shortly.
