I am relocatoing to Thailand, and I want to take my furniture with me from Hong Kong. Beds, Table, Desk, TV Cabinet, Fridge, microwave etc

Do I need to pay import duties? Can anyone recommend a decent logistics agent

I think I'm right in saying that you can't ship personal effects into Thailand unless you already have a work permit (more experience members, please correct me if I'm wrong).

But the real issue is why bother? Most places are fully furnished and you could easily replace all this stuff for (probably) less than the shipping fees. Sell it in HK, save the shipping costs, and buy new here.
