The problems with Vietnam and Cambodia are the frames ,never the genuine article. That aside cheap though. Also got two lenses put into my Ray Ban frames (broke one ) 500 Baht

The anti glare is so -so until it starts peeling off.

Great, thanks, that means I can get the frames cheaper here than Viet Nam and the lenses there cheaper than here.

But the lenses always depend on the strength and the compression index.

The frames are no name ... but good quality, so are the lenses - never

had anything worth than here in Thailand. Never had the coating peal

off nor any other problems - ever. The free check up, they measure the

pupil distances, and make sure the lenses are made properly ...

Dual focal lenses I was quoted $70 USD with frames, but I didn't have

enough time last trip, they needed 3 days to make them, and I waited

to long to go ... all standard lenses are a couple of hours ...

You CAN get Ray Ban, and other name brand frames, but those are

$100++ USD just for the frame, and I find the no-name frames just

as functional and appealing ...

I always go back for glasses - once a year for shopping ... meds are

cheap as well, if you need anything ...

At $40 USD, a pop I don't expect the glasses to last more than a

year, I am not particular careful and drop mine quite often ... I have

a large collection of old glasses, which are still in very reasonable

shape. Come and check them out B)

I am very satisfied, I have been doing this for over 5 years now ...

Cheers,

rudi
