Fact is, most farang I see here are with women that wouldn't even rate a 4 on Thai scores. Sadly, in the west they'd be more like 8's. Considering farang have such an advantage with the women here, it's no wonder guys find liveins in less than a year. Imagine how long it would take in the west. Took me years and I still couldn't find one.. Haste makes waste. There are stunning, beautiful girls here that most guys would only dream of in the west. So much more feminine. And guys take the ugliest ones around.. I suggest guys who first come here to take their time with the women here and be selective. Selecting the right partner, that is someone who you will live / spend a significant amount of time with, has more to do with personality & emotional compatibility than looks. I'm a traditional sort of bloke who prefers to have a lady who will take care of me in respect of cooking, cleaning etc & I don't want a lifeless blow-up doll in the bedroom either. Sure, that 20 year old '9.6' that you bought out of the gogo looks good on your arm & may feign the right noises in the bedroom, with a glazed look in her eyes as she dreams of the big house you're going to buy her in the moobahn, but what are you going to talk about for the other 23h 50m every day. I take your point about playing the field, which I have done in many countries to date, if you'll pardon the pun. I've seen many men rush headlong into a relationship, post divorce, with the first lady that they meet. I know guys who refreshingly admit to liking primitive looking girls. As they put it, something you might see in National Geographic. Tit man, leg man, spinners, everyone’s needs are different. More often than not, I find myself feeling sorry for the girl and her poor choice of a man. Most people seem to lack the ability to ‘read’ cross culturally. In the end I have adopted the philosophy that, people pretty much get what they deserve. Find your own and leave the other guys to find their own way. After you have spent a significant amount of time together, you get to see the small things. The smile that lights up her face when you tell her a joke, the 'doe eyes' that tell you she's in love with you & the cute frown that tells you that's she's pissed off & it's probably you're fault.
