Singapore To Krabi By Bus

Featured Replies

Many years ago I travel from singapore to BKK. I supposse still is posible to go from Singapore just to krabi and return to Singapore.

I hope that now there are air con buses, but have no idea about the price.

thanks for the help

hey newbie,

Not sure about the buses singapor direct to Krabi.....there would be connections for sure. But my suggestionis that you take the o/nite train Singapore KL and then get day trains KL to Penang. One night in Penang and then get the very early (4 am) mini buses to Krabi via Hat Yai in Thailand.

I think the train in Malaysia is great. More to see, more comfortable than a bus as well. buses use the freeways which are boring. The day trains between KL and Butterworth(for Penang) are really good. All you need is 2nd class. They have service like when you fly.....little trollies full of drinks and some food up the aisle every now and then and video movies at each end of the carriage. Get your tickets well in advance if possible.

Mini vans from hat Yai are ###### dangerous and driven by suicidal maniacs......and I mean this in the least friendly way. the drivers are absolute pack ass holes who have no consideration for saftey whatsoever. Take the big public buses from hat Yai instead. Maybe a little safer. thats all I have to say about that.

Understand that there is a overnight bus to Hadyaai from Singapore taken fro the Golden Mile shopping centre in Beach Road. The take a bus/train to Krabi from Haadyai. Have not heard of a bus to Krabi fromSingapore.

Singapore/Malaysian express/service coaches must terminate at Hat Yai.This dosn`t apply to Malaysian tourist /excursion coaches which can be seen in Phuket. You can book a direct fare at travel agents Phuket to Singapore. This I have seen advertised on Phuket so presumably you could do the same from Krabi or vice versa, but you will have to change at Hat Yai.
