geriatrickid
Although there is a reference to some people allegedly associated with the molestations that have fled. I believe that there is more to the story than what the one news article has provided. The apparent link to a "charitable" organization intended to help disadvantaged youth is disturbing and warrants further investigation. My understanding is as follows; -The accused was resident in Thailand for approximately two 1/2 years. He has described his presence in Thailand as being "sheltered". His exact words, not mine. -- His employment as a teacher is showing as follows; 1995-2003 - College le Grand parc, Cesson in the outskirts of Paris, and 1990-1995 College Les Nenuphars, Breval, approx. 60 km from Paris. - His teaching record shows he left the profession in 2003. (It begs the question of why?) - The accused seems to have an interest in young boys engaged in Muay Thai boxing and he is allegedly linked to a 53 year old Frenchman that runs a Muay Thai boxing school. (This other male has not been accused of any crime, nor has his school been accused of running a prostitution ring.) Although, if I was the international child abuse group that had tipped off the local police, I'd have a closer look at all of Monsieur Le Petit's associates. . - There is an alleged association with a "chaitable" organization intended to assist disadvantaged Nan youth. - One of the website hosts is linked back to France, so hopefully, the French authorities will show an interest and investigate the allegations of kiddie porn being circulated via a French based host. The story bears additional investigation beyond just the incident with the child as there are indications that the accused was linked to others that have a presence in activities targeted at vulnerable youth in Nan. And as an aside, the accused, led a low key lifestyle and was described as cultured, and affable. He hasn't been described as a lecherous brute in public. edited to ensure no one claims defamation of character. Absolutely further investigation of all of his activities and his association with various organizations/employment needs to be accomplished. swolfe2394
The scary thing for all you people is i know these people. I was adopted at age four and never knew who my real parents were. So my American family hired this man and another, and the this other guy i can't name. Anyways my parents hired these two men t find my parent.... they are "ok" people.. (YES people i know what they did and i am in shock myself, i got a phone call from my thai sister and i can't believe it. I remember going to their house and always seeing little kids there, playing video games, running around and everything.) But it is just scary how people get these days, how sick people really are! I mean, what has the world come to...?
cup-O-coffee
"The authorities have issued a warning to other parents to use extra precaution when hiring a foreign instructor or tutor for their children." This story had savvy until that last comment. This further proves that some countries, even entire nations, can be polluted with a supremacist, nationalistic, racist mindset and actually think the rest of the world is on the wrong. The Frenchman is just more cannon fodder for the "Machine". No news there. It's that last comment that really is the frayed thread sticking its head our of the sweater. Pull on that one and you really expose the truth! And the hits just keep on coming!
ThiagoBras
A worse image is the various online Thai news sources that have published still photos captured from Lepetit's CDs to publically show, without pixelating, him molesting small boys. This is Thailand!
Buchholz
A worse image is the various online Thai news sources that have published still photos captured from Lepetit's CDs to publically show, without pixelating, him molesting small boys. This is Thailand! It certainly is, however, they seemed to have made changes over the past couple years with "the meat cleaver stuck into husband's chest by jealous wife"-type photos by pixelating many, if not most of them. Hopefully, similar changes can also be made soon with the "older man fingering young boy's anus"-type photos.
