Isn't Lion only in developer's preview stage at the moment?

Chai Krup, invite only

what do you mean by application management being better?

What system are you running it on? Any performance differences? memory usage etc?

  • Author

Im running on minimal requirements intel dual core.

overall apearance changed back to the "flat-style" window handling is alittle buggy ( resulting of the "better" task management.)

Memory management is dramatically improoved (i haven testet with protected memory yet)

Cons:

Window handling seems alittle buggy, fullscreen & taskmanager are not relly in tune, results in the is apear to be slower, but its only optical issue.

Also in fullscreen its not possible to switch between subwindows.

All the rest is pretty neat

Photoshop need less than half the time to become operational, same for iphoto and aperture.

Device management seems to be improovfed too.

It take longer to boot but well i hardly reboot once a month so that not bother me at all.
