just wondering if this is a new way of Immigration checking up on people, but I've just had a new FaceBook friend request from a Thai Immigration Officer from Mae Sai...

Has this happened to anyone else?

Actually once at a border crossing the guys in immigration where trying to get me to take the female immigration officer out for dinner that night, I politely refused as my girlfriend was waiting.
